Venner Gasthaus in Monchengladbach

Today I visited the Venner Gasthaus for the first time. My conclusion: I can recommend. I will come back. 🙂 The restaurant is modern, friendly and bright. In warm weather you can also linger on the terrace at the back. The service in a good mood, very friendly, attentive, quick and customer-oriented. The food was very tasty. The prices are humane. You can pay with different payment methods, even with Google Pay and Apple Pay 😯👍, which I wasn't able to do myself in a restaurant. Parking spaces are in front of the door or in the large parking lot by the church. The toilets are clean and well maintained.

Had a very great evening here. We came with a voucher, but were still treated like normal guests and friendly service. The service was very nice and courteous and the restaurant looked like a small local restaurant. The food was really delicious, there was a lot of choice of dishes and the price-performance ratio was right even without a voucher. The dishes are reasonably priced and you get nice large portions. The food was hot and indicated that it was freshly made and served straight away. What you noticed was that the process was very fluid, as we didn't have to wait long for our food, even though the restaurant was quite full. The Corona measures were all followed well.

Top .... very, very friendly and attentive. The food offer as in Greece, and above all it tastes just as excellent everything .... Soon with pleasure again ...

Waitress very incompetent and unfriendly. Apparently they don't want to make any sales there. It's questionable how the store will hold up ...

We went there yesterday and had a voucher from Groupon. We weren't satisfied at all and had the bill given to us before dessert so we could leave right away. The soup was ok, the starter was ok too. An ouzo was not served during the entire menu. The main course was not okay either of us. My fish was drowned in sauce and fried more than dead so I didn't finish it. My partner's potato slices were drowned in fat. The side salad with the dishes was not served. The waiting time was extremely long, after 2 hours we didn't even get to the dessert. Really positive to be highlighted, however, was the service, who was really very friendly and tried to "save" all of that. We were given a French fries with tzaziki as compensation for the main course, we even had to wait over 20 minutes for this. All in all, we didn't want to even notice the dessert. Pity! For what we got, it was still too much money even for this voucher. In any case, we couldn't be won over as future customers.

Very tasty food and a very friendly, competent service. We will be back!

We went to the Venner Gasthaus for the first time today. We had booked a 4-course menu through Social Deal. We were more than satisfied. The food was really delicious and a lot. So much that we kind of rolled our way home 😂. The service was the icing on the cake. As a guest you are treated like a king there. We were definitely not there for the last time! Thank you for the great evening!!!

Had a meal there today on the occasion of my birthday with closest friends. Very friendly, courteous staff, brisk service, nice atmosphere and delicious food for a very fair price. Had the numbers 24, 48 and 8. We say thank you again and look forward to the next time. 👍

Perfect! We were the first time today with four people in the Venner inn and are absolutely thrilled, the restaurant is very pretty. Unfortunately we have not photographed every dish. For me as a vegetarian, a great alternative was offered. The service, the ambience and the food were just great! We will definitely come back. 5 stars - more are unfortunately not possible.

Exceptionally good Greek! We ordered a surprise menu for the whole family. We were really pleasantly surprised. There was something for the whole family - meat, fish and delicious specialties.
